The blog is back to normal. It’s the weekend but Beloved Other Half still has to attend the Royal Malaysian Customs classes and all my girlfriends appear to have their own very special plans. So I am spending my time with a book and wishing we were here...

This blog is temporarily in a mess.

I’ve been unable to view all the side bars of this blog since yesterday. Apparently my blog host is updating its services. This is the email that I got from them:

One woman show

I’ve receive complaints for not updating this blog frequently. Again, please bear with me for I am still operating the shop single-handedly. Besides, if I’d already found a trusted assistant wouldn’t I be in the pictures not behind the camera. :P

 

As with many new business ventures, the early days are the most difficult, so these last few weeks have been emotionally draining.But I’ve always believed:” Every hardship has an ease”.

 

New Arrivals

A pair of silk satin with batik/thai silk for Baju Kurung . Kerawang all over the bottom part of Baju. Only in pinkish purple, maroon and light green. RM150 (inclusive sewing fees).

Who would have thought!

The other day, to cheer me up from my demoralized state of mind Beloved Other Half suggested 2 things:

1. “Let’s watch the Devil wears Prada, so you can get inspired!”

2. “Maybe next time to lift you up I’ll buy you the Fendi bag, how does that sound?”

I must have seemed to be in a horrible state for him to suggest the 2 things above. I was puzzled at first but started nodding enthusiastically for I very much like the second proposal and told him I would prefer this vintage Christian Dior envelop bag

or/and a pair of this Manolo’s

The attack of the oranges

Mandarin oranges. We’ve received boxes of mandarin oranges from friends, students and suppliers. Even after sharing them with others, we still have more than a hand full.

 

So the fastest way to finish them up is to squeeze them into juices. For breakfast, lunch and dinner.

 

From our previous experience, if you do happen to receive boxes of mandarin, do not squeeze the entire lot and try to store them in the fridge. You will end up having them spoiled less than 12 hours later. Perhaps it was because we did it manually.

And in spite of all the oranges I consumed, it did not shield me from the flu viruses. Yes, I am down with the flu right now.
