Morbus Ménière

My Ménière has been back for more than a month. Tinnitus has been ringing the exact same volume every second in my right ear and has never cease. Vertigo and nausea has been my constant companions. Since last week it has become a daily occassion, affecting my balance thus I can barely function properly.  

So please bear with me the inconvenient patient.

I found out that Julius Cesar, Charles Darwin and Van Gogh, to name a few, were Ménièreans.

 

Of course that does not make me feel better :P but this man in the pictures does!

Book, Audio Book

Yesterday my cousin, the lecturer, and I were taking about books and told me the only thing she reads nowadays were advertisements on her way to work or back home. I too, since the opening of The Shop have found it hard to sit down and read a book. But thanks to technology, I don’t have to read a book. Thanks to technology I can do my work/house chores while my laptop reads a book for me.

 

        

 

 

 

Or load it on my thumb drive and listen to it via the mp3 car modulator on my way to/from work.

 

Right now I am reading…I mean listening to a free audio book I downloaded from Harun Yahya while still being chained to my cutting board and sewing machine.

 

 

Uniform & I

For the past month people have been seeing me wearing the same colored shirt dress to work everyday. That is my uniform. My mom and aunty giggled hearing it because I am still working alone but have a uniform. I don’t mind, at least I don’t have to spend 10 minutes of my time every morning in front of the wardrobe thinking what I should wear then which matching scarf to choose.

It saves me time. Lots of time.

Come to think of it, I have always had to wear uniform during my school years -- be it private or public. From kindergarten, primary school, gym classes, high school and even university (traditional malay baju kurung to go to classes was a must). The only 4 years of my life that I didn’t had to wear uniform to school was in Paris . After school, working for hotels obviously requires me to wear uniform and then there was The Company where female staff wore navy blue pant suit with ivory scarf.

No wonder I like uniforms. :P

Wireless from Changloon

I am now wirelessly online from The Shop. Rented the internet connection from an internet café located precisely at the back of The Shop. It is super fast. God knows how long it will last. Anyway, now you can again buzz me on YM id:alhaura

Meanwhile, I am literally glued to my sewing machine, completing student’s kebayas and kurungs which they all want to wear to their annual grand dinners this week end.

I am in desperate need of an assistant!
